Abstract
Smart services are becoming increasingly important for manufacturing companies. Therefore, a uniform method is required for designing these services in the environment of production networks as well as to establish business models for network-based smart services. A method for modelling smart services in the context of production networks is presented. This approach helps to establish business models for these services.
