Abstract
Over the past decade, the distinction between “real-world laboratory” and “real-world experiment” has frequently been blurred, leading to misunderstandings, scientific inaccuracies, and methodological errors. This confusion fuels criticism that real-world laboratories lack novelty, preventing them from realizing their full potential. Hence, a clear distinction between these terms is crucial.
