Abstract

The final sentence of the section entitled ‘Use of antibiotics and input into the environment’ contains an incorrect tetracycline concentration. It should read:

Tetracyclines have been detected in concentrations of up to 0.3 mg/kg in soil17 whereas others have been found in the sediment under fish farms.
