Abstract
In Industrielle Beziehungen 4/2009 Alexander Dilger criticizes my article "Die Aufsichtsratslücke im Dienstleistungssektor: Ausmaß und Bestimmungsgründe" published in the same journal. The central allegation relates to the quality of the data used from the Hoppenstedt-database. He also criticizes the uncertainty associated with the opening of the scope of the DrittelbG. This reply shows that the allegations do not stand up to closer examination. In addition, new research results are presented which further support the findings from my analysis.
