Abstract

This case study examines the concept of Quality Management and its importance in the modern business environment. It provides an overview of the Cost of Quality Reports and Value Engineering and how they can be implemented into the Balanced Scorecard. Additionally, it highlights the shortcomings of implementing the Balanced Scorecard without proper regard to employee concerns. Students may use this instructional case study to illustrate the concepts discussed. Through this case study, students can gain a better understanding of Quality Management and its importance in the business world. Furthermore, they can learn how to apply the Cost of Quality Reports and Value Engineering to the Balanced Scorecard in order to improve the overall quality of their organization.
