    Abstract

The work has shown that in the case of outside financing of farmers/ agricultural businesses operating renewable energy plants, the risk interlinkages regarding borrower properties, obtaining of information, credit checking and monitoring process as well as rating require special observation and that these interlinkages can and should lead to changes in the credit processes. Particularly, as regards the consolidated analysis of the farmer/ agricultural business and the renewable energy plants company, there is some catching up to do. Even though, in agriculture, new business has clearly lost significance where agricultural renewable energy plants are concerned, adjustments to the processes in the growing existing business do make sense.
