Abstract
Social tipping points are moments when targeted interventions in collective behavior can trigger transformative shifts across society. Embedded in complex social-ecological systems, these tipping points have the potential to drive rapid, systemic change, addressing urgent challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and social inequality but also leading to negative or unintended consequences if not carefully guided.
