ABIS Doctoral Summer School 2013

The first ABIS Doctoral Summer School was organised by the Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM) The Academy of Business in Society (ABIS). The summer school aimed at enhancing doctoral students' (PhD and DBA) research contributions thus advancing the field of corporate sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business ethics. Particular attention was paid to frameworks, concepts and management approaches, addressing research questions and providing guidance to practitioners. A small group of doctoral students (25) seized the opportunity to be actively engaged in revisiting their research and doctoral work in the inspiring environment of one of most renowned universities in the field of sustainability sciences. The summer school brought together students at various stages of doctoral research progress, creating an opportunity for extensive networking.
