Valentin Niebler is a research associate at the Horizon 2020 project PLUS (Platform Labour in Urban Spaces), which investigates how the expansion of digital platforms affects urban living and working conditions. He holds a M.A. degree in Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin, and has also studied in New York and Würzburg before. He is interested in labour sociology and the platform economy, with a focus on collective action and labour conflicts.
