Geboren 1962 in Baiersbronn (Schwarzwald), verheiratet, 3 Kinder, Studium der Volkswirtschaftslehre und wissenschaflicher Mitarbeiter an der TU Berlin, seit 1994 an der Universität Lüneburg tätig. Promotion TU Berlin 1994, Habilitation Uni Lüneburg 2000, seit Oktober 2005 Professor für Volkswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Theorie der Wirtschaftspolitik.
