Curriculum
Stefania Animento obtained a PhD in Urban Sociology from the University of Milan-Bicocca and the Humboldt University of Berlin. In her PhD thesis, she studied the relationship between class and mobility by focussing on the case study of young Italian migrants in Berlin. She is interested in Migration and Mobilities Research, Urban Studies and Gentrification Research. Currently she is a member of the Horizon 2020 project PLUS (Platform Labour in Urban Spaces), which investigates how the expansion of digital platforms affects urban living and working conditions.
