Stefan Koch is a PhD candidate at the Department of Operations Management and works as a research associate at the Institute for Corporate Development. He teaches a variety of undergraduate courses in logistics, supply chain management and operations management. His research focuses on supply chain management and operations strategy.

Stefan holds a master's degree from the Leuphana University Lüneburg in Management and Business Development, majoring in Supply Chain Management in 2013 and received a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg in 2010, where he majored in International Management and Economics. He studied two semesters at the Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) and one semester at the Université de Poitiers (France), and gained practical experience by consulting for various organizations, including a project developing an innovative in-plant logistics solution. He also worked as a student research assistant and teaching assistant at the Department of Operations Management.
