With a BA in European Studies and MSc in Sustainable Development, my professional interest strongly lies in policy-making and policy-analysis.
As a scientific researcher and PhD-candidate in Political Science at Leuphana University, I am currently looking at the institutional dynamics in sustainability transformations from a policy and governance perspective.
Current Research
My current research focuses on processes of institutional and societal transformations, particularly in relation to energy systems. Central to my research is the productive potential of failure and decline, or the ways in which failure may serve to advance the effectiveness and efficacy of public polcy and the wider political system, opening a 'window of opportunity' for institutional change.
My work is embedded within the transdisciplinary Leverage Points project at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany.
