Curriculum
Katharina Trostorff is associate scholar and PhD student at the Institute of Sociology and Cultural Organization, consultant for blended learning at teaching service and lecturer for feminist media studies.
From 2009 to 2011 she worked at the journalism department of the FU Berlin as a research assistant in the projects 'Migrant Women in Audiovisual Media' and 'Migrant Women in Daily Newspapers - Analysis of Representation and Reception'. 2001-2008 she studied journalism and communication as well as business administration with a focus on personnel policy at the FU Berlin and completed her studies with a Magistra thesis on 'Diversity in the editorial department. Gender and Ethnicity as Structural Categories in Media Production and an Inventory about Migrant Journalists in Berlin Radio'.
