Since April 2020 Judith C. Schneider is a Professor of Finance at the Leuphana University of Lueneburg. Before she was an assistant professor in the Finance Center Muenster at the University of Muenster. She received her PhD from the University of Duisburg-Essen in the area of Quantitative Risk Management and Insurance and her Diploma from the University of Bonn focusing on Quantitative Finance and Quantitative Research Methods.

Prof. Schneiders current research projects focus on quantitative risk management, behavioral asset pricing and experimental finance. Currently she is analyzing the impact of visual salience on financial decision making.

She was visiting several Universities during her studies and as an assistant professor: Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Economics), University of Technology Sydney (Quantitative Finance), INSEAD (Fontainebleau, Decision Analysis) and Caltech (Camerer Group: Behavioral and Neuroeconomics).

Prof. Schneiders scholarly work has been published in international journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Banking and Finance as well as Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
