Johanne Düsterbeck is a PhD candidate and research associate at the Chair of Strategic Management. She studied Business Psychology and Management & Entrepreneurship at Leuphana University Lüneburg and abroad at the Peking University’s Business School in Shenzhen.

In November 2020, Johanne Düsterbeck joined the Institute of Management & Organization. In her research, she takes a process perspective to better understand organizational phenomena at the intersection of innovation and strategy. Another research interest of her is to study how professionals experience meaningfulness in pluralistic work settings. Johanne Düsterbeck explores these issues using qualitative research methods such as case studies and ethnographies.
