Research interests
Die Anwendung von Sensorik und die Messdatenauswertung im Bereich von intelligenten Systemen sowie in der Produktion bilden den Forschungsschwerpunkt.
Im Rahmen der Promotion wird ein Konzept entwickelt, um den Zustand eines Raumes dynamisch abzubilden. Mit Hilfe von 3D-Kameras wird der Raum überwacht und verschiedene Klassen von Objekten identifiziert. Durch ein Vorhersagesystem kann auf Basis vorheriger Beobachtungen ein wahrscheinlicher zukpnftiger Zustand des Raumes abgebildet werden. Dieses System kann dazu dienen um autonomen Systemen das Navigieren zu erleichtern und die Mensch-Maschinen Interaktion entscheidend zu verbessern.

- Seit 2012: Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg des Labors „Messtechnik und intelligente Systeme“.
