Jacob Hörisch is Professor of Sustainability Economics & Management. His research focuses on how economic actors can contribute to sustainable development. Key areas of interest include the role of consumers and corporate sustainability, particularly within the framework of stakeholder theory. Jacob Hörisch has published extensively on these topics in leading international journals (including Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Industrial Ecology). His research has received several awards at international conferences (including Best Paper Designations from the Academy of Management Conference, the British Academy of Management and the European Academy of Business in Society). According to the Stanford Ranking published by Elsevier, he ranks among the top 2% of the most cited researchers worldwide.
