Seit 2004: Aufbau und Mitarbeit im Fach Kulturvermittlung und Kulturorganisation. Veröffentlichungen zu Themen aus Kunstsoziologie, Kulturökonomie und Sozialgeschichte der Kunst.
Seit 2001: an der Universität Lüneburg im Fach Kunst- und Bildwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Kunstsoziologie und zeitgenössische Kunst. Projektorientierte Mitarbeit im Kunstraum der Universität Lüneburg.
1995-2000: Lehraufträge an verschiedenen Universitäten und Durchführung von Ausstellungsprojekten.
1990-1995: an der Universität Lüneburg im Fachbereich Angewandte Kulturwissenschaften zu Themen aus den Bereichen Kunstsoziologie, Kultursoziologie, Kulturtheorie und Kulturökonomie.
1981: Promotion an der Universität Hamburg im Fach Soziologie. Anschließend Forschungsprojekte zum Thema Migration, Bildungsevaluation und Kultursponsoring.
