Research interests

Mr. Fuhrhop’s research interests include molecular electronics, electrical transport in organic materials, metal-organic contacts, novel organic transistors, mechanical properties of organic nanostructures, physical and mathematical modelling, and adaptive and predictive control.

Curriculum

Mr. Fuhrhop received his Electronic Civil Engineer degree (6 years engineering program) from the Technical University Federico Santa María of Valparaiso-Chile in 2001, and his certificated in Micro and Nanosystems from the Applied Science University Kaiserslautern in 2008. In 2009 he joined the PPI institute as a Research Assistant. Since January 2013 he pursues his Ph.D. in the Research Laboratory of Process Measurement Technology and Intelligent Systems at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. Dr. Fuhrhop finished his PhD in Abril 2015, after this he has obtained a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Leuphana University to research new control approach for Atomic Force Microscope. Since April 2015 he is Research Associate at PPI Institut/Chair for Control and Drive Systems.
