Frau Prof. Dr. Brit-Maren Block (Venia Legendi für Elektrotechnik und Didaktik der Ingenieurwissenschaften) ist am Institut für Produktionstechnik und -systeme und Lehrbeauftragte an der Leuphana Universität in Lüneburg tätig. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte umfassen Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeiten in den Bereichen Elektro- und Automatisierungstechnik und Didaktik der Ingenieurwissenschaften.
Für ihre Lehre und neuen didaktischen Konzepte wurde sie mehrfach mit dem Lehrpreis der Leuphana Universität (2017, 2007) und der Fakultät (2020) ausgezeichnet.
