Curriculum

Benjamin Sachs has been a research assistant at the Center for Sustainability Management (CSM) since October 2018. He is part of the MBA-Team Sustainability Management. Furthermore, he is the coordinator of the certificate programs - the Certificates of Corporate Sustainability Management (CCSM).

Benjamin Sachs completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences with a minor in Political Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg. He completed his master's degree in Sustainability Science with a focus on Sustainability Management at Leuphana University and Karlstads Universitet (Sweden).

As part of his thesis, he addressed compatibilities and contradictions between the sustainability strategies ‘efficiency, consistency and sufficiency’ from a management-oriented perspective. After his bachelor studies, Benjamin Sachs already worked in sustainability departments of a manufacturer of organic pesticides and a regional engineering company.
