Curriculum
In September 2018, Andreas Hübner joined the Institute of English Studies. Hübner graduated from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and received a Ph.D. from Justus Liebig University Giessen. He previously taught English and History classes at Albert Schweitzer High School in Erfurt and held faculty positions at the universities of Kassel and Flensburg. Hübner’s research interests include the fields of North American Studies, Global History, and Didactics. His current research project aims at developing new approaches to teaching the anthropocene and combines methods of Cultural and Global History, History Didactics, and Transcultural Communicative Learning.
