In the summer term of 2026, this research area will be represented by an administrative professorship. Their research focuses on the area of Youth and Inequality Studies which focuses on the lifeworlds of young people and examines how social inequality shapes their everyday experiences and processes of socialization. Particular emphasis is placed on educational inequalities and praxeological approaches to inequality research. The field integrates both national and international perspectives and addresses the intersections of class, migration history, gender, and other dimensions of social inequality.
