Inclusion-Exclusion-Table and Qualitative Coding of a Systematic Literature Review on Transdisciplinary and Lab-based Sustainability Research in Urban and Rural Areas

The dataset is the basis for a systematic literature reviews that compares transdisciplinary and lab-based sustainability research in urban and rural areas. It comprises data extracted from SCOPUS on February 11th, 2026. The search string yielded 1,604 hits for peer-reviewed journal articles. After Title-Abstract-Keyword screening 477 articles were included. The 100 most relevant articles were analysed in a qualitative full-text screening. Respective methodology and details on the coding process are found in the article and the corresponding electronic supplementary material.
