Choice index

The Choice Index quantifies the concept of Choice on the basis of indicators relating to Freedom in their reproductive choices, based on three items indicating how acceptable respondents find (a) divorce, (b) abortion, and (c) homosexuality. Together with the Autonomy Index, they form the two sub-dimensions of the Liberating orientation, one of the two dimensions of Emancipatory Values.
