Abstract

The global experience of educational functioning during wartime has received insuffi-cient attention, which makes the research topic relevant. In Ukraine, between 2014 and 2022, key directions in the transformation of educational management became evident, demonstrating the resilience of the education system during the most challenging mo-ments of the full-scale war. The purpose of the research is to study the Ukrainian experience of education management and its resilience in wartime. A comprehensive literature review has enabled the authors to refine the definition of organizational resilience within the education system and propose a dynamic model delineating its components and stages of development under crisis conditions. An analysis of various educational indicators was conducted, revealing patterns of managerial influence on infrastructure support, particularly by improving financing, adopting new tools and technologies, expanding educational forms, and achieving learning effec-tiveness. Mathematical modelling confirmed the correlation between providing schools with protective shelters and students' transition to full-time education, which has become more active. In general, the study of the functioning of the Ukrainian education system in the conditions of prolonged wartime has shown that the key factors in ensuring its resilience to new challenges are, first of all, the flexibility and adaptability of educational management. Systemic transformation of approaches to decision-making and management tools aimed at ensuring continuous operation and strategic development of education also has a decisive impact on the formation of human capital and the country's economic prospects. The study's practical significance lies in the generalization of the education management experience and its resilience in wartime with the possibility of its use by other countries in emergencies.
