Abstract

With the introduction of the internet and online databases, students now have an abundance of learning tools at their disposal. Students’ usage of resources to improve their performance has been investigated through a survey. A survey with five hundred respondents was performed among university students using a customized questionnaire. Following a statistical analysis of the data, the following key conclusions were reached: Students might benefit greatly from short questions and answers while they are getting ready for an exam. Students favour YouTube videos that are academic in nature. Textbooks in hard form are preferable than digital files. During their time at the institution, 63% of students participate in two or more extracurricular, academic, or sporting activities. 33% of the pupils won one to three awards in extracurricular, intramural, and athletic events. Chi-square statistical tests show a substantial correlation between CGPA and participation in extracurricular and academic activities. In order to support students in excelling in co-curricular, extracurricular, and athletic endeavours as well as academics, the university must provide the necessary resources. In order to advance their knowledge and abilities, students must recognize the importance of the resources in their immediate environment and utilize them to the fullest.
