Werdegang

Yas­min Leh­mann is a Ph.D. stu­dent and cur­rent re­ci­pi­ent of a Ph.D. scho­lar­ship at the In­sti­tu­te of Eng­lish Stu­dies (IES) whe­re she teaches part-time and is working on her dis­ser­ta­ti­on tit­led ‘Di­sas­ter, Youth, Nost­al­gia: Re-ima­gi­ning the 1910s in con­tem­pora­ry Bri­tish and Ger­man cul­tu­re’ (Su­per­vi­sor: Prof. Dr. Emer O’Sul­li­van). She was awar­ded a Ba­che­lor of Arts de­gree with First Class Ho­no­urs at Uni­ver­si­ty Col­le­ge Dub­lin in 2009 for which she re­cei­ved the UCD President’s Award and the Patrick Semple Medal. In 2010 she gra­dua­ted as a Mas­ter of Arts in Anglo-Irish Li­te­ra­tu­re and Dra­ma from the same uni­ver­si­ty, with the Mary Colum Award for fe­ma­le Gra­dua­tes.
