Research Experience

Nubuke Foundation – Clay and Textile Center, Wa, Ghana
February 2019 – now

  • Design and implement the research for the development of a knowledge base of material textile culture
  • Develop questionnaires and employ methods of Participatory Research in collaboration with the local weaving communities for the collection of information
  • Co-curate the first permanent exhibition for the knowledge centre in Wa

 

Centre for Undisciplined Research - Project in Goldsmiths University of London
February 2018 – now

2nd Stage of the Project: Co-authoring a publication on issues of subjectivity formation through the development of fictional figures                                                                                                                  

  • Contribute to the writing of the individual and co-authored texts for the forthcoming publication of the project
  • Attend bimonthly meetings with the collective in order to discuss material related to the publication, develop our methodology, discuss the written parts and the suggested amendments

1st Stage of the Project: Research and prepare the series of events entitled Partial Versions                                                                                                    

  • Attend weekly meetings with the collective to share and discuss research interests and methodology of working
  • Present ideas and collaborate for the creation and finalization of the series of events 
  • Invite external artists and theorists to present their work
  • Co-author the description and the strategy for both the series and each individual events
  • Propose texts for the events and the reading groups of the collective
  • Curate open response crits for the students to share their research
  • Contribute to the promotion of the events (posters, emails, facebook events)
