Werdegang

I joined the Otto Group Chair of Strategic Management at the Leuphana University in 2011, after working as Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia and earning my Ph.D. in business administration at the Institute of Management at the Free University Berlin in 2008.

Forschungsgebiete

My research interests focus on 2 areas, i.e., social business & entrepreneurship and plural modes of organization. The questions that fascinate me in the area of social business explore business models, growth strategies, competitive advantage and credibility of social businesses. In the area of plural modes of organization I study when firms choose which plural sourcing strategy and the resulting performance implications such as innovation performance.

My teaching interests cover topics such as Social Business, Strategic Management, Management and Organization Theories, Marketing Planning and Strategy and business simulations.
