BETA-FOR_SP8_understory_aboveground_biomass_2023

Aboveground biomass in three fractions (woody, herbaceous, evergreens and creeping plants) as harvested in all subplots (5 per patch) in all patches and regions in 2023. Biomass was harvested on 0.5 m2 (squaremeters) per patch. See attached factsheet for details. Variables Description################ *regionSite: identifier for region and site where the patch is located *patchLabelBETAFOR: unique BETA-FOR patch label *biomass_fraction: indicates the fraction of the harvested biomass by assigning to the categories woody, herbaceous, creeping/evergreen, dwarfshrub *dwc:Year: year when the biomass was harvested *weight: weight of the harvested biomass in the indicated fraction
